Multiples
Here are 4 casts made from a mold of the St. Joseph sculpture.
The first is on the left. The last is on the right. The final one was done in a pressure pot.
Because our silicone rubber mold was not made under pressure or under a vacuum, bubbles were captured in the rubber.
When pressure is applied those bubbles compress and the mold deforms so when a cast is made those imperfections show up in the finished cast.
