Hockney Style Collage

Students are to make a photo collage in reaction to the work of David Hockney. (Screenshot of his website is here.) Each student will take multiple pictures of a scene or activity from a variety of different angles and various depths. They will then creatively combine and overlap the images into a photo-cubism collage using Photoshop and the skills they have learned thus far.

Students must be the photographer at all times, if you are thinking about using yourself in the collage you should use a tripod or mirrors to your advantage.

Note: the more your photos vary and overlap each other the more interesting it will be when you combine them.

Have fun and be creative!
