Lenticular Drawing

Students are given a chance to bring life and movement to their art! Students are shown video (or two) of lenticular paintings so they understand what a Lenticular painting/drawing is. Some real-life examples from former students are also shown in class.

Next a worksheet is given where students can color the lines, fold it, and tape it to a (6X9) backing paper.

After they have practiced with the worksheet the students are given papers to draw their own lenticular drawings. Color Theory is discussed and each of their own drawings must conform to a color scheme such as primary colors, secondary colors, warm colors, cool colors, etc. They then cut their drawings into strips and glue them to a folded paper.
