Row Houses

Images of Row Houses are shown to students in order to familiarize them with the term. Special note is made of the patterns that make up row houses. Windows and bricks are repeated in patterns. The decorative elements of the buildings are also very often repeated.

Students are to cut long rectangles from wallpaper scraps and glue them to their background paper. Next windows and other details are added.

Each student will make 3 or more row houses on their paper.

When students are finished we will talk about each set of row houses. Students will be use critique skills to explain why they like (or dislike) each set of houses.
