Frankenstein, Picasso Style

Students are introduced to the idea of Cubism through Picasso's artwork.

Students are then shown how to draw faces in profile. They are given green paper and shown how to cut a "U" shape by cutting away two bottom corners. They are then given another shade of green paper and asked to draw a face in profile, cut it out and attach it to the U shaped piece.

Next, Necks are added and bolts cut out of gray paper.

The Picasso Style Frankenstein faces are attached to a backing paper of the student's choosing and details such as eyes mouths and hair are added with additional pieces of paper. Stitches can be added with sharpie marker.
