Performance Art

Students are shown a few videos of performances:
A skater
Blueman Group
The painter Nina Vitanova
David Garibaldi.

The teacher discusses how Performance art is all about doing an artwork in front of an audience. Sometimes that art may be dance, sometimes it may be drawing, painting or sculpture.

Sometimes we go up to the weight-room and gather in a circle to do our performances. That way we can all be performers and the audience at the same time. Students are given a prompt of something to perform.
