Mini Mice

The teacher demonstrates how to break a small piece of clay off the lump to be used for ears and nose. Then the large lump is pressed around a finger to make the body of the mice. Students should take the clay off their finger and tap it three times on the table to flatten the bottom so the mouse stands nicely.

"Scratch and attach" the ears and nose to the body. Then we use our "blue sticks" to press eyes in. The final thing is to press their initials into the back of the mouse neat enough so everyone can read them.

After firing the mice will be painted.
