Invisible Illustraton with crayon and marker.

Using a dark colored marker, the teacher demonstrates this project by coloring over a pre-done White crayon drawing.

"See, there's nothing on this page... But if you color over it with our special magical markers, Abrakabam! a special magical illustration appears."

After handing a "blank" paper to each student they are able to color over the paper with a marker and see what kind of invisible illustration they get. (Three to five different white crayon drawing variations have been done for the students to color on so each person on the table may see something different after markering the page. click here for the character sheet that the teacher traces with white crayon.)

Students then try making their own invisible drawing --or they can trace over a given character with their white crayon and marker over it. Click here for a page with guidelines for their drawings.
