I did this sculpture at school. I let the kids sculpt with me on their own lump of clay. After introducing them to the clay I spoke about my work as a sculptor and demonstrated how I work up a portrait. Each class got to see a different part of the process. The next few images are screen shots from the video I made while sculpting.
This picture shows the support pipe covered with a plastic bag to make it easier to remove later.
