Full disclosure:
I added one 2X6 black plate with holes and two 1X2 black plates (Replacing the second 4X6 plate in step one of the main model in order to make it easier to disassemble. But, as it turns out, those parts also allowed some pretty amazing alternate models.)
Spaceship with opening wings and spring loaded landing gear.








The landing gear is held in place by the weight of the ship when on the ground.


When lifted, the gear springs into it's retracted position for flying.
